New this year are the Chihuahua Races! 25 Chihuahuas will take their place to compete for title of fastest dog!

Come enjoy these little dogs play, run, and race to the finish line! Event is sponsored Nature Select of Southern Arizona.

SkyHawks Skydiving Team

The Arizona Skyhawks demonstration parachute team, is based out of Phoenix, Arizona, and has been performing spectacular jump events since 1997. The Skyhawks have performed at international events that include professional sporting events, business grand openings, rodeos, festivals, and charity events.With over 150 years of combined experience and 30,000 jumps, the Arizona Skyhawks thrill their audiences with their creativity and precision.

Salsa Making Competition

The Salsa Challenge is an opportunity for people to show off their salsa making skills and unbeatable recipes!! All salsa will be prepared right at the Salsa Challenge. People will have a chance to buy chips and go to each salsa challenge contestant and sample their awesome salsas.

The Salsa Challenge is open to professional as well as amateur salsa chefs; both prizes and bragging rights will go to the top contenders, including the popular People's Choice Award. Sign up forms will be available soon.

Salsa & Jalapeño Eating Competitions

The Jalapeño Eating Contest and Salsa Eating Contest are open to the bravest of the brave - men and women, ages 18 and up. Do you think that you can chomp down more SPICY Jalapeños or slurp down a bowl of salsa faster than anybody else? Then sign up and become a participant! Sign up forms will be available soon.

Friday evening, watch the hot air balloons set downtown Safford a glow as they ignite their flames along Main Street at the annual SalsaFest Balloon Glow!

Wake up early and catch the hot air balloons take off on Saturday morning during the third annual Balloon Festival!

Sisters on the Fly is a unique organization focused on seeking adventure and having fun. This sisterhood has grown to over 1,000 members from all walks of life. Sisters on the Fly were just featured in the June issue of Sunset Magazine.

These women travel all over the country fly-fishing, running the river, and socializing over a glass of wine, holding true to their motto "We have more fun than anyone!!"

Check out their Cowgirl Caravan comprised of vintage trailers that reflect each sister's personality. Each is decorated inside and out and has a theme unique to its owner.
