Growing red chiles for cosmetic and pharmaceutical purposes for many years was the beginning of the San Simon Chile Company. Green chiles grown in the San Simon are known for their excellent quality and flavor; and San Simon Chile Company offers fresh roasted green chile in season, as well as frozen and sun dried red chile pods. Red jalapeņos are smoked Aztec style and chipotle sauce is available as well as jalapeņo relish, and jalapeņo jellies; all made from the peppers they grow. |
