Join in the fun on the Safford Town Square to
share in the festivities of the Second Annual
SalsaFest Friday and Saturday September 26 &
27. This year’s festivities will include a
salsa-making competition, a marketplace, Walk
for Kids, salsa music, dance performance, food
demonstrations, chili roasting, a kids' corner
with a piñata bust, and jalapeño & salsa eating
contests. Come see the Balloon Festival Glow on
Friday evening and watch the balloons take off
on Saturday morning during the first ever
Balloon Festival at the SalsaFest! Sisters on the
Fly will also have vintage trailers on display in
the Safford Town Square.

The salsa making competition is open to
professional and amateur salsa chefs and prizes
and bragging rights will go to the top contenders
including the popular People’s Choice Award.

The jalapeño and salsa eating contests are open
to the bravest of the brave - men, women and
